Thank you for your interest in joining Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.

We are an ambitious organisation and a complex business delivering a wide range of mental health, learning disabilities and community healthcare services to over 1.7 million people across the diverse Lancashire and South Cumbria geography.

I joined the Trust as Chief Executive earlier this year and I am building a refreshed Executive team who will flourish in the face of our current challenges and create a vision for future success harnessing the commitment and talent of all our teams.  We are seeking a new Executive Director of People and Organisational Development, who possesses an open and collegiate leadership style.  We require a leader who shares our values and our commitment to continually improving the quality of care to all our service users and to the involvement and engagement of our dedicated staff.

In making this critical appointment for the Trust we are seeking an exceptional leader for our Board, who will work with us to build on the constructive relationships we are developing with our staff, service users and carers, governors and many external stakeholders.  We are seeking an individual with the appetite and energy to provide leadership and ambition on our journey of improvement. This  is also a genuine opportunity to make a difference to improving the health and wellbeing of the population we serve and the happiness and wellbeing of our staff

Previous NHS experience is not essential, we are seeking leaders with a track record of delivering sustained organisational and cultural change in complex organisations.  An engaging leader you will quickly build credibility with our dedicated staff and our service users, carers and broad range of partners with whom we collaborate in the wider health and care system.
