Over the last couple of years, we have completely refreshed our leadership team and are currently implementing a new operating structure which aligns to the collaborative approach we are taking to integrated working with partners across our geography which covers a whole Integrated Care System footprint. We have invested significantly in our Mental Health services over the last year and we are committed to gaining parity of esteem for these services within an NHS system which is responding to a continuing growth in demand; and to working with our partners, clinicians, service users and carers to coproduce these services.
Our Director of Communications will report into our new Chief Strategy Officer and will lead a refreshed and well-resourced communication and engagement function with responsibility for internal and external communication, media relations as well as engagement with our staff and our broad range of strategic partners and stakeholders. This is a broad position, with significant Board exposure. We are seeking an innovative, inclusive, and politically astute leader with senior communications experience in a large complex organisation. You will ensure that opportunities are identified to promote the Trust’s work and to develop and uphold our brand and reputation.
